The TXS 3453 is a Multichannel Video Transcoder which provides a powerful processing engine for linear broadcast transcoding needs.

Supporting MPEG transport stream inputs and outputs, the product can be configured to transcode up to sixteen HD channels of MPEG2 or H.264 in a 1RU form factor.

The TXS uses state of the art video compression techniques to achieve very low bitrates and exceptional picture quality - rivaling that of costly single-channel professional encoders.

The hardware can be configured and licensed to provide maximum value in any use case, from a single-channel per box up to sixteen channels. Maximum density is acheived via gigabit Ethernet inputs and outputs, although a variety of ASI input and output modules can be added to the box to support legacy architectures.

The TXS 3453 carries forward Sencore’s tradition of Ease of Use, providing an intuitive web GUI for unit control and status. It also supports full control through SNMP and a web services API.
